RSS2 Feed Fixed!, Get On The Media from NPR

Saturday, March 19th, 2005

After submitting a bug report to the Wordpress team, I finally received the proper information to fix the RSS2 feed for this blog! It’s been about 4 weeks now and it was quite frustrating, but now things are back to normal and I will start adding podcasts to the blog postings as well as sending out email announcements to the industry.

I was hesitant to start promoting this blog until I fixed the RSS2 Feed and the X-Gallery plug in, which runs this blogs photo gallery. One down, one to go!

I have to finish my mid-term and study for an Algebra quiz this coming Monday, but after that, I’ll start posting relevant content again and be back in full swing.

Hopefully, someone has a fix for this X-Gallery plug in. If you know why it’s breaking the template, I’d appreciate you letting me know. Thanks!

BTW, you must check out National Public Radio’s On The Media Podcasts. If you are in the media business, it’s a must listen as the show spotlights various media concepts, controversies and news about the media industry. If you own a web site, magazine or work in radio, television, film or any other media for that matter, it’s a great way to get keep abreast of the changing rules and even just the idea of media in the world around you.

I’ve been downloading On The Media on a regular basis. It’s great, because now I can take NPR on the subway with me everyday. Go to iPodder.org to download a Podcast receiver for your Mac or PC and you’ll be able to subscribe to all your favorite podcasts and download them right to your iTunes app. Or, go to Onthemedia.org HELP PAGE to subscribe directly to the Podcast feed. You can also listen to the feed using Real Audio Player.

Here are a few more photos I took with the new camera for you to check out while I get things organized and get back up to speed early next week.
