Digital Music Forum – Today!

Happy March 2, 2005

Are you New Yorkers tired of the snow yet? Punxsutawney Phil, the famous Groundhog from Bill Murray’s cult classic “Groundhog Day” saw his shadow this year, so six more weeks of winter there is. We all pray Phil is wrong this year, but it looks like he’s right again!

All weather aside, today’s the big day at French Institute in New York City as the the 2005 edition of the Digital Music Forum kicks off. I purchased a beautiful, 8 Megapixel Konica Minolta Dimage A200 today (mainly because I have a dream of becoming a professional photographer, but that’s a story for another day) and will be testing it out at the conference. I hope to be able to bring you photos in the Gallery (created magnificently by David Cramer for Worpress 1.5).

I have a little bit of a bug in my Gallery section, but I’m hoping to have it fixed by tomorrow evening and then I’ll be able to upload all the pics and video from the DMF for your viewing enjoyment.

I’m going to try an record some audio as well for my first podcast. I’m bringing the DAT player with a mic, but I’m not sure how that’s going to turn out. We’ll find out soon enough.

Hope to see you there!

Tony Z.
