Okay, so I’m taking a break for music for a second to talk a little about my Boston roots. It’s been a great week for my fellow Bostonians. The Head of Charles Regatta, Harvard vs. Princeton at Harvard Stadium and of course, our beloved Red Sox coming back to dominate Cleveland and take us to our second World Series in four years.

Tonight, I checked the MeetUp.com group for where in Manhattan Sox fans were going to check out the game. Usually, the Red Sox faithful head over to Riviera Cafe, but the legion of ex-pats has grown so much, that there are now four or five key places to check out the game with other natives.

I headed over to Professor Thom’s on 14th and 2nd and was surprised to find about 200 die-hard fans hanging out in the top of the 7th, even though we’ve got a 12-run lead.

Looking forward to Game 2 on Thursday.
