Movement 2012 kicked off sans some of the bigger names in its history, but according to TellUsDetroit.com, attendance was up this year over last year, which proves you don't have to have the biggest names to attract electronic dance music fans for this popular, long running festival.

Okay, we love the DIY video. Felix the Housecat is saying "*&#@" the record labels, time to 'do it yourself' baby! The track is "Kickdrum." Bomb the bass, call it what you want—it's big beats and distortion gallore. Just what you'd expect from a track called "Kickdrum." We're definitely diggin this one.
